Ronnie Hicks born in Fayetteville, NC. Attending both Douglas Byrd High School and Jacksonville High School in NC. Join the NAVY at age 22 and station in Norfolk, VA with VAW-122 Steeljaws. Services was Desert Storm, Operation Provide Comfort, and Panama left the Navy in 1993 with a Honorable / Medical Discharge.
Started taking Taekwondo during Operation Provide Comfort and enjoy it so much that he continue his training with Master Amsler in Fountain Valley, CA. He has competed in both National and International Tournaments and is a USAT Referee. Volunteer for NCTO (North Carolina Taekwondo Organization) and Civil Air Patrol of Brunswick County.
